After I checked out, the hotel staff claimed the TV in my room was broken because of me, even though I never turned it on, and demanded 10,000 baht in compensation; I had to call the police, who finally let me leave, otherwise the staff would have blocked my exit.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the coffee came from beans; the pool and bar were also great.

I ended up in the wrong district, the breakfast was decent but very Chinese‑styled, and the staff spoke very little English.

The room itself is really good, but the hotel isn’t actually five‑star as the website suggests, the pool is inactive, the breakfast is awful, the location is terrible—far from the center with nothing nearby—so I don’t recommend it.
