“Insomma, considerando il prezzo dell’hotel (circa 230 € per 5 giorni), non ci aspettavamo certamente un servizio di luss”
The hotel sits in a solid central spot, close to the old town and bus stops. The welcome was decent, but that was the only bright side of the Ilios. As soon as we entered the room, a quick check revealed several problems: the kitchen lights were out, the white‑iron headboard was dust‑covered, and the bathroom was filthy—urine on the toilet plate, a tub full of hair, and some towels were dirty. We pointed out the bathroom issue right away, and the receptionist said the cleaning crew had already left but she would inspect it herself. We left the keys, and when we returned, the bathroom had been cleaned, though not perfectly. On day three, the cleaners came again, swapped towels, but left one completely dirty and hair‑laden; they also took out the trash but did nothing else. On day four, the cleaners returned once more, but the situation was almost unchanged except for a window left open and the trash emptied again. The pool was also dirty.
