“Peaceful luxury hotel which is perfect for the end of a long trip”
The hotel was very peaceful and the rooms were large, clean, and well‑air‑conditioned. The staff were friendly; one man—probably named Harry—helped us with English translations for our driver and luggage. Breakfast was nice, quiet, and included in the price, and the hotel offered complimentary food, drinks, and buggy transport to the rooms. However, the shower flooded the bathroom because of the floor design, there was no gym or pool (likely due to the location), and the breakfast buffet seemed wasteful with many items displayed but few guests; a cook‑on‑demand system would be better. The TV was too small and slow for the room size, and the crisps in the snack drawer were expired. Hangzhou city center is about 30‑40 minutes away, and the hotel is halfway to Matcha Lake.
