The hosts were very friendly and welcoming; the room was spacious and comfortable; breakfast was continental with exceptional homemade croissants; we booked a lovely dinner at the attached restaurant run by the hosts; the village is very quiet with lovely countryside walks; the room and bathroom looked a bit tired and could use a refresh.

It had plenty of personality, and you should definitely catch the sunset from the front—wow.

Andrew, a 4‑star executive chef and co‑owner with his wife Julie, made and served a fantastic petite dej with house‑made croissants; he’s a genuinely gracious man. The experience was flawless and far surpassed my expectations in this lovely, small village—Heims is a hidden gem with the friendliest locals.
