“Scammed me out of $130”
There is no OYO at this address; I was scammed out of $130 and have yet to receive a refund after booking and paying online, only to find no hotel at the listed location.

We chose this hotel for its location and price, not realizing Tru is aimed at younger travelers. The lobby had a pool and foosball tables, plenty of seating and workspaces for community gatherings, which I loved. Staff were great and let us into our room a bit early, a huge bonus because we had an event. The room was spacious, well appointed with soaps, etc.; the decor was modern, minimalist, and efficient. The bed was so comfortable—ten stars for the bed. The bathroom was large and bright. We’ll definitely look for Tru by Hilton properties in the future. Nothing else to note; we stayed two days and it was perfect.

I can’t give a good rating because upon arrival we were told the booked hotel no longer cooperates with us and we had to book a new room. My cancellation was not accepted because I was already standing outside the door.

The host was friendly and took good care of us, but I was double‑charged.

WARNING: OYO Hotel does not exist in Brownsville, TN. It literally isn’t physically there. They rented me a room at a place that doesn’t exist and will not refund my money. When you try to get a refund you’re talked to a bunch of (I assume Indian based on the accent) people who run you in circles until you’re exhausted. I was just trying to contact them via the website’s messaging and it’s not even possible. It’s turned into a very intricate scamming operation, similar to phone call scams, but you unknowingly end up losing your money. It’s genius if you think about it. This is the only way I’ve found to get this word out. DO NOT rent this property. DO NOT rent ANYTHING. WARNING. The hotel doesn’t exist! I got scammed. I want my money back!
