It was a run‑down old hotel with a classic interior; I booked because of the bunker. The staff were welcoming and showed me everything. The room was clean and had air conditioning. The bed was huge. The window offered a nice street view. The bunker had fold‑out beds that you could sleep on. The bed was hard, like a door. At night there was an alarm, so I went down to the bunker and slept there. The mattress on the fold‑out was more comfortable than the one in the room. I slept so well there that I didn’t want to get back into the room. Breakfast wasn’t super‑mega, but it was basic enough to get a meal.
