The rooms surround a central pool that, unfortunately, wasn’t heated. The hosts were very nice, offering welcome drinks and scones with jam and cream, which were delicious. The rooms boast huge ceilings that we loved and a set of cozy armchairs. Everything we needed was there, even a collapsible sink that fits into the bathroom basin—quite clever. A heated pool would have been nice.

The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast included scones with jam & cream, various cereals, coffee pods, and even a bed turndown service. The gardens were gorgeous; the pool was a bit cool, but it would be great in summer. There was nothing we didn’t like!
