The location is great, the staff are friendly, and the value for money is excellent, with nothing to complain about.

The hosts are very kind, and the proximity to the train station and tourist attractions is unbeatable; nothing is wrong, everything is very comfortable.

The first reception was very good, but after that it vanished; the location inside Lucerne was excellent, yet the distance to the restaurant kitchen was disappointing. The room appeared clean at first, but then I noticed dust, and under the bed it was still comfortable. Shared toilet details were not clear when booking, and even if they were, I wouldn’t have expected up to 12 people per WC. The shared shower was mentioned, but I didn’t anticipate it being in a space between two rooms, accessible from both at the same time. The minimum required supplies for body/hand wash and the like were lacking for what claimed to be a hotel; it felt more like a hostel.
