Everything was very clean and the room facilities were satisfactory. The area felt safe and it was easy to get to Banda Hilir. I asked for a fresh set of sheets around 9 pm, but the receptionist said the room‑service person had left and no one could give us new sheets.

The hotel was close to the city center. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was tight and had little variety. There were few tables for so many rooms and we had to wait.

The rooms were modern, the staff very friendly, everything was clean and the city centre was within walking distance – I’d definitely recommend it, the price‑performance was top+++. Breakfast was passable, but the hot dishes arrived cold, like the eggs and the pasta, and the shower drain had a slight odor.

I booked a Deluxe King Room with Windows for 5 nights. The room was roomy enough for a large bed, a mini fridge, a minibar, a cabinet, a table, a chair, and a TV with local channels. The toilet was clean, insect‑free, had an exhaust fan, and a hair dryer. Overall, the room was good. The air‑con stopped working the first night, but it was fixed by morning. Thanks to the hotel staff, housekeeping, and maintenance team. Housekeeping was great. Breakfast was free with the room rate and had a decent spread with an egg station. The location was awesome. Chinese eateries were within walking distance. The hotel faces The Shore, though The Shore has limited shopping. Guardian and 99 Speedmart were nearby. The hotel is a stone’s throw from the Melaka River with great night lighting. If you’re willing to walk a bit farther, you’ll reach St Peter’s Cathedral, Little India, Jonker Street, and various eateries and activity spots near the river. Small shops are close to the hotel. For shopping at Dataran Palawan Megamall, Mahkota Parade, and Aeon Mall, you can Grab for less than 10 RM per trip (off‑peak). The only improvements would be: 1) Management should improve the soundproofing of rooms with windows; the current insulation no longer works and nighttime and early‑morning noises from outside are clearly heard in the room. 2) Expand the breakfast spread to include more Western options.
