Everything! The setting was stunning, Sophie’s warm and attentive welcome, the décor was tastefully done, the breakfast was hearty and delicious (shoutout to Sophie’s husband for the soft-boiled eggs). We hope to return soon for a longer stay – one night isn’t enough. Nothing to add.

It was simply lovely! Sophie was welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect – quiet, a kilometer walk to town, the surroundings are beautiful, and the chateau is well worth visiting. The variety of homemade jams, tarts, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, and other breakfast items was excellent. The house’s history and grounds were fascinating, and the restaurant recommendations were spot on. Nothing to criticize.

The property is attractive and unique, with private parking and within walking distance of the chateau de Langeais. The room is spacious, well‑appointed, impeccably clean, quiet, and has a very comfortable bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked for guests. The host is efficient and engaged. The curtain between the room and bathroom is used instead of a door, and there is no lock on the bedroom door.

We were in Langeais, France for a family event and loved staying here. Breakfast was delicious with so many homemade jams, cakes, and more. It was hard to leave and not have everything on the table waiting for us. The owners were helpful and a lot of fun to chat with. Nothing to change – I loved its charm.
