The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and especially featured tasty rolls of various kinds, the modern rooms were charmingly complemented by relics from earlier times, and the historic elevator was a real highlight.

The hotel is on a quiet street, and from the balcony you can see either the mountains or the lake; breakfast is good and sufficient, all hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are renovated and practical, the building itself offers a glimpse into the family history, and everything feels very cozy.
