It’s close to the lake shore, but some parts of the house need a renovation.
The spot is super convenient, right by the beach and the lagoon – perfect for a stroll and sipping chimarrão. But the building’s paint is peeling, the wiring is a nightmare – we lost power halfway through a shower in the middle of winter. Parking is a squeeze, only a handful of cars fit in the courtyard, the rest have to park on the street. And for a family room, only one zone had AC.
The place is in a great spot – easy to get around.
The location is perfect for anyone wanting to explore Laranjal (neighborhood, beach, lagoon, restaurant). Breakfast is good, staff are friendly and polite, and the air‑conditioning is effective and quiet. The lodge’s facilities and structure are old and need maintenance, especially painting. The photos on Booking don’t match the current façade paint, which is worn, and the gates are rusty. Room cleaning could improve—there were spider webs behind the TV, on the bed, and in the nightstands. Another power outlet next to the bed would help, since there was only one shared with the mini‑fridge, lamp, phone charger, etc.
“Ótima pousada”
The staff gave us a warm welcome, everything was clean and organized. I’d definitely recommend it.
