A private entrance leads to a terrace that overlooks the garden, and the interior is equipped with air‑conditioning. The space contains a living area, a well‑stocked kitchen, a flat‑screen TV, a washing machine, and sleeping arrangements for up to five guests, including four beds and a crib. Two private bathrooms each feature a walk‑in shower and a hair‑dryer.

The host is friendly, shares great local tips, and communicates well. Everything in the apartment was well stocked. Nothing was wrong; everything worked perfectly.

The unit we stayed in was only about a year old, so everything felt brand new. The kitchen, appliances, and bathrooms had high‑quality finishes and were tastefully designed. We especially liked the under‑floor cooling system on hot days. The two owners were always available, friendly, and helpful. We all enjoyed our stay in this smart unit. The entry required an app download and, in our case, access to a laptop for emails; a simpler method would be welcome.

The houses sit on the edge of Castricum and everything is within walking distance; a supermarket and bakery are about a ten‑minute walk away. Although the earliest arrival time is set for 16:00 and the digital lock only activates then, we arrived at 15:20, were let in straight away and the lock was adjusted for us. The interiors are beautifully furnished, spotless and ultra‑modern, with everything you might need daily – washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer drawer, coffee maker, microwave, oven, TV, etc. The kitchen is fantastic and very contemporary, the bedrooms are spacious with super comfortable beds, and the bathrooms are incredible, featuring walk‑in showers with hand‑spray and rain‑spray, heated mirrors and floor heating throughout. The living room opens onto an outdoor area under a pergola with a sunshade, table and chairs, perfect for sitting outside. For kids there’s a trampoline, a large swing, a climbing frame, a slide, a small swing, a small grass field with two goals for football, a tiny tractor and a go‑kart for the youngest, plus a crib and high chair. The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive, never missing anything we needed, and they responded instantly to any question or tip request. Before arrival they sent a detailed 11‑page guide with recommendations and shopping info, which was very helpful. Thanks for everything – I highly recommend this place.
