“A very enjoyable stay”
Breakfast was really nice and all the food was very fresh; the room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable, and there was nothing we didn't like.

The room was gorgeous, the spot was perfect—just a 10‑minute walk to town and a spot to charge the car—and the breakfast was lovely with owners who were very welcoming.

I booked this spot at the last minute while shooting the area, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise; the hotel itself is stunning, the rooms are beautifully decorated, and the breakfast area is quaint and lovely. It sits up on a hill with a great view of the castle, offers on‑site parking and an EV charger, and you can walk down to town, though the hill’s ascent and descent can be a bit of a trek. The town quiets down at night, and despite being a major tourist spot, I struggled to find a dinner place. The room and bathroom were spacious, but I forgot to check for a blow dryer before showering, so I had to call down and get one; they sent it promptly, though I had to get redressed first. Just a heads‑up for future guests.
