The station is close.

The breakfast was tasty; the menu on the day I stayed was the soon‑to‑close Kanda commemorative menu, and the “Kuppa‑style” dish was too spicy for me, but it was fun to have a unique menu. After checkout, they let me leave my luggage, which was helpful. I also enjoyed reading “Tensura” from the rental manga selection. The only downside is that it closed on 9/13.

The hotel was quiet and close to the station. The service and the price were disappointing.

The hotel offered good value, was well located with Akihabara a short walk away and Kanda station nearby for easy travel. My room was clean, in excellent condition, had a comfortable bed and was generally well equipped, though it lacked a safe. The central air conditioning works but takes a long time to cool the room, so don’t expect it to be off while you’re away in summer. The lobby was nice, featuring a large manga library, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet’s karaage was superb, but unless you plan to eat a lot of it first thing in the morning it feels a bit pricey given the limited other options. The paper key cards used for room locking are a major nuisance; they must be inserted in a very specific way, which takes time to master and isn’t always reliable. The coin laundry only has three machines, all of which accept only 100‑yen coins, so you’ll need to bring enough change, and if you’re unlucky you may have to wait or queue.
