“Très décevant”
I was very disappointed with my stay at this place. The hotel lacks a reception or common lounge area. My room was accessed via two flights of stairs, which was tedious with a large suitcase, especially if you have back problems. The room was functional but had no charm. The cheap perfume on the sheets gave off an unpleasant smell. The walk‑in shower flooded the tiny bathroom. There were mini shampoo samples but no shower gel. In short, very Spartan. There is a balcony, but it opens directly onto neighboring rooms, so there’s no privacy, which is why I didn’t use it. I don’t understand the positive comments about breakfast—it’s very basic. I also don’t get the positive remarks about the host. For example, on my departure day (check‑out is early compared to most places: 10 am), he saw me with my large suitcase and didn’t even offer to help me down the stairs to the ground floor.
