The staff's amazing service made up for it
The spotlessly clean accommodation, complete with a pool, foot-washing station, and laundry drying area, was a haven of comfort and convenience

“Estadia agradável.”
The staff and management were very good, but there was no shower in the bathroom and the breakfast start time was not punctual.
“Conforme aux attentes, jolie décoration, super service ++++++”
The upstairs room layout, bedding, and housekeeping were excellent; Yannis the director and his team provided perfect hospitality and always took care of us. It was a bit noisy in the evenings due to other guests, as the bar is below. The breakfast could be more varied and local, with fresh eggs, better jams, and espresso (there’s no other coffee or tea). After staying several days, the options felt a bit repetitive.
“Super”
I loved the breakfast, the hammocks, the location and the people.
“Decu”
Near the beach, the family rooms were spacious and the manager was attentive, swapping our room for the second night after we were disappointed that we didn’t get a sea view. The first question at check‑in was whether we would accept a discount to cancel the reservation. Only one family room has a sea view like in the photos; the others face the vegetation. It’s a hostel, not a hotel, and the breakfast area was not very pleasant.
“An absolute gem”
My sister‑in‑law and I just came back from Ilha Grande and Pousada Tropical, and we had an amazing stay. From the moment we were picked up at the jetty, where a new staff member named Octavo—who was amazing all the time—helped us, we were warmly welcomed and assisted. The staff carried our suitcases and guided us on boat tours, making all the difference. Warm smiles were always present, and Dani, the manager, is excellent; we enjoyed the food and drinks. We loved the family atmosphere and only wished we could have stayed longer. We think Octavo will be a great asset. The only slight issue was a language misunderstanding over cleaning the room, but otherwise it was a 10 in everything! Thank you!!
