“Лучшее, что можно представить!”
Stories about the beauty of these places are enchanting, and I had been planning to visit them for a long time. The nature is delightful, and no camera can fully capture how wonderful these spots are. It’s useful to pay attention to the location. The 350 minibus often stops. The ride to the hot springs on the upper side takes 15 minutes. You can reach the foot of the mountain where the climber’s village Altyn-Arasan is in 10 minutes. The minibus to Karakol takes 15 minutes. Nearby is the village Tepoluklyuchena, where you can buy everything you need. I had never stayed in Karakol or its surroundings before. I searched long for a place to stay. I first stayed at another hotel, but the conditions were completely different. I didn’t even expect to find decent accommodation. Then I was attracted by a guest house in the village Maman, where a single room is offered. Instead of the expected attic room, I got a clean, cozy room. It’s perfect for family holidays and for those who want to escape civilization. The house sits on the edge of the village. On one side is a huge field, and in front a wonderful view of the mountains. The impressions are overwhelming. For example, you’re not just renting a room; you’re a guest, and the host treats you with a special approach according to Eastern tradition. The host, Cholpon, cooked national dishes. Beshbarmak, Oromo, pilaf, kurdaq, manty, boorsak, all homemade, were beyond praise. The barbecue that Cholpon’s mother made could be enjoyed at any time of day. The house is clean and cozy. I remember the stay at the guest house in Maman with great warmth. I didn’t want to leave. If I ever get lucky to visit these places again, I’ll stay only here. Huge thanks to Cholpon and her family for a wonderful holiday!
