The staff were friendly, and although we skipped breakfast, the free coffee and the decent breakfast spread were a nice touch. The room itself was in poor condition, missing tiles in the bathroom and covered in paint overspray, making it look run down. We were told the room would be available when we booked just a day before, but the pool was closed the same day we arrived.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the basic amenities were fine. However, the bathroom had loose tiles and patches in the tub that looked tired, and there were only two bath towels, which was a bit lacking.

The staff was friendly. The room smelled like smoke; I booked a non‑smoking room, but before I lowered the air conditioning very low, the room still smelled like dirty mopped water.

I didn’t eat breakfast, but I liked everything else about the stay.
