The location was good, breakfast was fine, the room was clean, Wi‑Fi was open, and parking was available. Parking was expensive, but the staff offered a discount at the counter.

I landed in a spot that’s easy to get to and the beds feel solid, rooms are roomy, and the breakfast spread is plenty. For £120 with breakfast included it’s a good deal. Room 37 was on the ground floor and stayed quiet through the night, but the morning was a bit louder when the doors rattled. The beds were comfortable, though the heavy duvet and lumpy pillows were a slight drawback. One irritation: the room is listed for two people but we only got two tea bags. Most guests would want a cup of tea upon arrival and another in the morning; the front desk staff were willing to supply more, but having to request it was annoying.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, and modern. Check‑in was great and a discount was offered for the adjacent car park. The bar and restaurant area was pleasant to relax in. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location for sightseeing in Bath, no more than a 20‑25 minute walk away. Veggie options were limited at the hot breakfast, and there was some nighttime noise from students, presumably from the nearby flats gathering in the car park.
