We were in Meerut for a wedding with few hotel options. The superior room was fine, no complaints, but the standard room should be avoided – it was tiny, damp, smelled musty, and the air‑conditioning didn’t work. We had to leave the key in the system for the fridge to run, and because they only had one card per room we had to ask staff to let us in each time we wanted to go to the room; the safe worked and they gave us the key. Breakfast was purely Indian, and we struggled to find something we liked among the dishes. Service was very slow; when we asked for extra bread, butter, jam or coffee they said yes but didn’t understand, so we kept waiting, asking again, and waiting more. The laundry service was flawless, except you have to ask several times before they return your clothes. Payment was a nightmare because their system wouldn’t accept foreign cards. A few days before arrival we got an email saying our card was declined and the reservation would be cancelled unless we paid quickly. Other cards failed the same way. We sent several messages asking them to keep the booking, but got no reply. When we arrived, the reservation was still there, thank goodness, and we finally paid by a Revolut transfer.

The location is great, but the front desk was disappointing.

My stay at this hotel was decent, but it was the strategic location that really stood out to me. The hotel's proximity to key attractions made it easy to get around the city, but aside from that, my experience was fairly unremarkable.

While the staff at this hotel were friendly and welcoming, there were several issues that detracted from my stay. The gym was not well-maintained, and I could smell smoke in my room. The beds were also uncomfortable, and the WiFi was slow. On the plus side, the food was passable, but it wasn't enough to make up for the other problems.
