Being close to Baldeneysee and linked to the RuhrtalRadweg was wonderful, and the breakfast was excellent; everything was fine.

The location right by Baldeneysee and the entrance to Villa Hügel was ideal, the street was a bit noisy but not unbearable even in summer; I had requested an extra bed by email well in advance, yet none was in the room on arrival and no staff were on site, we tried the hotline after 6 pm with little success, but the next morning they gave us a complimentary breakfast, which we appreciated and was genuinely good.

A historic house that I liked a lot.

The breakfast was very good and the staff at breakfast were friendly. There wasn’t enough bike storage, and the bathroom was tiny, tucked into a wardrobe.
