The spot worked for what I needed, but the stairs were everywhere—so many steps, it was exhausting.

The staff were very friendly and it was good value, but the entrance has a lot of steps.

The location gave easy access to the GNR start.

The staff were friendly and the beds were comfy, yet the standard room’s décor felt tired and rooms above the bistro stayed noisy late at night; the deluxe room was quieter and its décor was fresher.

The location. Near cafes and bars . Near MetroCentre and family . Some staff very pleasant and social . Price was reasonable . Size of the room. The bed awful I previously stayed in the new extension. I had a what seemed like a new mattress and a great shower . This time the room was tired in the older main building . The expel air didn't work and I couldn't fit into the shower over the bath . 6ft 2 16st a walk in shower would have been better . The second mornings breakfast . Wrong order and not great . Although the previous was good and cooked to order ! There was a big coach load of people and that could have been a factor . Traffic loud in the morning at the front . Although if you shut the window it's ok
