“Charming Hotel, but Single Rooms Need Improvement”
The renovated, cozy hotel sits right in the heart of Santiago de Compostela. The double rooms are absolutely lovely, with beautiful stone details and comfortable beds, while the single rooms are much more basic. The staff are also super friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Yet the difference between the double and single rooms is surprisingly large; the doubles feel elegant and full of character, whereas the singles, though clean, feel more like basic guesthouse accommodation with low, somewhat uncomfortable beds, which is quite a letdown by comparison. The hallways and elevator are also rather narrow, and breakfast is fairly basic, offering only the essentials.
