Located 1.5 km from Aix-les-Bains' city center, Logis Auberge Saint Simond features a Mediterranean ambiance, a large flowered and wooded garden with olive and plane trees, and a swimming pool. The inn offers rooms with flat-screen satellite TVs, private bathrooms, and a restaurant serving authentic Japanese cuisine at KYO SUSHI, with a summer terrace under century-old plane trees.

Warm reception, quiet spot close to the city center on foot, very clean room, a very pleasant place with good value for money. Recommend. The bedding feels a little old, but the hotel is so quiet that it’s not a big deal.

164€ for a “deluxe” room that isn’t worth more than 70… a stale smell like my 93‑year‑old grandmother’s house. We arrived and the room was unbearably hot; we asked the manager, who said we’d have to wait for it to cool down, so we went back. In the evening we asked again and she fixed the problem by resetting the breaker (was that for savings?). Surprise in the deluxe room: cobwebs, a spider in the corners and on the headboard. No fridge in the room, nothing. Outside, the train runs right next to the hotel at full blast, the parking isn’t private, and if you arrive in the evening you can’t park. The pool looks great in photos but is not maintained, not heated, even iced, and some lounge chairs are broken. In short, you get better conditions at a B&B for 60€.
