The Comfort Double Room with Street View opens onto a street view, and guests can enjoy wine or champagne provided in the room. It sleeps two with a choice of either one large double bed or two single beds, and a crib can be added on request; a wardrobe, flat‑screen satellite TV and free toiletries are also included. The private bathroom features a walk‑in shower, a bidet and a hairdryer.
Unfortunately there’s no air conditioning in the room 😔.

The room was large and quiet, the breakfast was very fine and left no desire unmet, and the location is ideal: a bus takes a few minutes to the centre of Merano, and it’s about 15 minutes on foot; the staff are very friendly and create a pleasant family atmosphere, but we bought a bottle of wine from the house and had no way to keep it cool, so perhaps offering smaller bottles would be useful since we couldn’t drink the large one all at once.
The pool was nice, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms had been renovated, but there was no mini‑fridge.

The location is very good, just 5 minutes to the town centre of Obermais with excellent public transport and shopping and dining options, and there’s a nice small garden with plenty of furniture and a pool; the single room was rather spartan, even the mattress, and there was no comfortable reading spot except on the balcony, and the lobby or lounge was not accessible in the evenings.

The welcome was great and the room was superb, yet everything else was perfect.
