I really liked the location—it was quiet yet close enough to a stop for Allilaguna and Vaporetto, so getting around Venice was easy. The staff were friendly. However, the shower was small and one of the doors was broken. The housekeeping left a packet of condoms in the room, and the duvet stored in the wardrobe had stains.

I appreciated the location near Santa Lucia and the abundance of shops around. Check‑in was smooth and even two hours early, which was great. The shower worked well and included toiletries. Cleanliness was acceptable, and overall the value for money was excellent. I had nothing to complain about; my experience was very positive.

The place was well situated in a quieter part of Venice but still close to everything. The mattress was horrible—lumpy with uncomfortable springs, giving us the worst sleep in Italy. The shower was broken, spraying from all sides and we had to hold it up. The sink plug wouldn’t come out, so water wouldn’t drain. The host barely communicated.

The location was convenient—not far from the station and within walking distance of nice bars and the areas of San Marco, Arsenale, and Giardini. The staff were friendly at arrival and even kept our bags on the day we left. The room was clean and had all the basics you might need, and it’s relatively inexpensive for Venice, so it’s good value. Don’t expect luxury—the room was very small with little space for our stuff, but we were out most of the time. If you’re after a basic, clean stay, Hotel Henry works.

The spot in Cannaregio was spot on. The bathroom partition was broken and missing a panel.
