The cleaning and staff courtesy made it easy to reach. The lack of a blind or small door on the glass entrance door means you wake up at dawn, and the bathroom door is plastic and flimsy.

“Bon logement, hôte a fuir”

It was cheap for the room size. The room Wi‑Fi was dead and the 4G network was terrible. The boiler leaked and made an annoying high‑pitched noise sometimes. The host stood in front of my door for 40 minutes demanding a €37 surcharge (in addition to the room price) because “Booking” supposedly wanted a refund and that I had to leave if I didn’t pay. I refused, explaining in Italian that it was likely a Booking error and not my fault. I called Booking, who told me not to pay the €37 because they hadn’t requested a refund; they eventually left me alone. Later that night the host texted me saying it was a scam attempt by someone posing as Booking, with no apology. I understand they don’t want to refund a room I’m staying in, but I kept telling them to contact Booking because it wasn’t my fault, and they wouldn’t listen, insisting I pay or leave, and offered no apology when they realized their mistake.

The reception was “touristy,” just covering the basics. The website listed €5 parking for the courtyard, but I was asked €20, while the rental was €41. I ended up paying €10 for parking. I would have found a better deal elsewhere, so it brought me back to €52 without breakfast. It’s hard to find a street parking spot.

The place was clean, but the bathroom batteries weren’t fully working. Privacy was limited because the owner’s yard work was happening nearby. There was almost no equipment—just a few plastic cups and nothing else; a mug and a plate would have been useful.
