I found the room very comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were lovely. Since I was traveling for business, the setup was exactly what I needed. I left early for work, so a full breakfast wasn’t necessary; the tea and coffee selection was solid. The shower area was excellent, and the neighborhood was quiet with no disturbances. It’s within walking distance of the town center and the sea front, and parking is free and easy. The value for money is good. I couldn’t find anything to criticize.

“Great B&B”

The room and bathroom were spacious, and the hosts were very informative and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there. The only downside was the lack of a bathmat, so I just used the towels to dry off after the shower.

“Comfortable stay in an unexpectedly scenic area.”

I stayed in a comfortable private room with an en suite, just outside the town center. It was convenient for catching the bus to Newtownards and the Strangford Lough ferry. I wish I had stayed longer to explore the area. The host was very friendly. Nothing else to note.

The place was absolutely fantastic in a lovely setting; everything was just right. Host Steve and Sandra were incredibly helpful. The tea‑making facilities with cereal in the morning were a bonus, and parking was free. A short walk takes you to the town with plenty of activity, and Portaferry itself is beautiful to visit. Leaving was the only downside.
