The position was great, but the room was pretty standard, the bed wasn’t comfortable, and it was very basic—definitely not deluxe.

The place had loads of character and a great location. The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help with our accommodation problems for the following week; the service was magnificent. Breakfast was tasty (evening meals looked good too). Parking was available when we arrived on the street for about £2 overnight. The only downside was that the bar could stock some local bottled ales.

The place is gorgeous, right by the water with boats sailing past, and everything else is just a short walk away; parking is conveniently at the front. The staff were super helpful and friendly, so I’ll definitely book another stay.
