“It could have been the worst hotel experience”
The location is the real win – right next to a few restaurants, a convenience store, and only a few minutes’ walk to the railway station, which made my early‑morning train a breeze. The downside was the front desk: they refused anyone without a mainland Chinese ID even though my reservation was confirmed, so I had to get my local friend to use his ID to check me in, and the staff seemed half‑asleep and unfriendly. On top of that the shower flooded constantly and the bed sheets were dusty.
