The location was great and very quiet, so I slept soundly. The room was clean, with high ceilings and good ventilation, and the hanging clothes rail was free‑hanging. The bed, however, had no slatted frame and sat only on a plywood board, yet I still slept well. The carpet was quite worn and should be replaced. The bathroom was tiny, the tap didn’t work and only produced three very fine, thread‑thin high‑pressure jets. I didn’t complain because I had already unpacked and didn’t want other guests in the room. The shower head had a very long hose that easily reached the sink, which worked fine. If I had complained, they would probably have fixed it.

The hotel sits in the center, next to the shopping street, and is a 15‑minute walk from the mausoleum and the castle with the underwater archaeology museum.

“Un hotel precioso”

The hotel is wonderful. The house is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The courtyard area is pleasant for breakfast or a break after walking around the city. The staff, both the owner and the breakfast lady, were very kind and helped us with everything: parking, laundry service, etc., and made sure we were fine at all times. The breakfast was tasty and varied. The location is ideal! Despite everything, the hotel’s soundproofing isn’t good. We stayed in a lower‑floor room and could hear amplified footsteps and noises from guests on the upper floor, so much so that my nighttime rest was poor and I woke up frequently. It’s a shame because without that issue the hotel would be perfect.
