Mabel was the best host – she was extremely kind and welcoming and made our stay even better. The beds were very big and comfortable and we didn’t mind the airport right next door because only one or two small planes come and go each day. We had some ants in the room but it wasn’t too bad and it would have been nice for the kitchen to have a stove.

The location is ideal, close to everything and far from the noise and bustle of the full centre. Even though the island is small, this accommodation is near everything, in a very safe spot and away from the crowds of the town centre. The room is very comfortable with good air conditioning and a very spacious bathroom. It has a common kitchen with a fridge, toaster, coffee machine and a pot that lets you make a good breakfast or snack. Among all the good things, the best thing the accommodation has is its tranquility; because there aren’t many rooms it feels like you’re practically alone… our stay was super quiet (though that also depends on the other guests). Mabel’s service was wonderful; even though she wasn’t there during our stay she stayed on the phone answering our questions and helping us with tours, mobility, places on the island. Her son, who was there, was very friendly and gave us tips and helped with tours. Very relaxed people who care about you having a good time. It’s a place to return to and recommend. One block from the airport, very easy to get to. The only tiny detail I would add is curtains on the room windows to block the light. That wasn’t a problem because the windows are small and you always wake up early on the island, so we had no inconvenience.

Comfortable, has a coffee maker, toaster, water heater and microwave. If you’re not going to the party this is your place. We had to cut our trip short and Mabel was very understanding. Not all tourists are equally civilized, we had to share common spaces with some who weren’t very polite and we couldn’t dine in the lounge because it was all occupied.

The place was spotless, and I liked the tiny kitchen where I could brew coffee, tea, and use the Frigidaire microwave; the patio was great for relaxing. No complaints.
