The bed was good, the place clean, and the simple breakfast was fine, but the water was very hard and the shower was hard to mix, which was a real drawback; also, avoid eating at Café Saigon in Saint‑Emilion – it was tasteless.

The reception was very warm, the room was pleasant and quiet, giving everything needed to feel comfortable, and the homemade breakfast was delightful; it’s close to St Emilion.

The location, the quiet, the owner’s excellent welcome, the well-equipped room, and the homemade breakfast were all great, with nothing to complain about.

The host was very friendly and welcoming and had excellent knowledge of the area, with plenty of useful local advice. The room was well cared for and the French breakfast was excellent. I also found the property surprisingly quiet despite being close to the road. A lovely place to stay while exploring the vineyards of the Gironde and the Saint-Émilion area
