“Un lugar mágico, en un pueblo maravilloso”
The location is great, and the building feels magical. The room itself is very simple; I feel it could be a bit better for the price you pay to stay.

Parador de Hondarribia occupies a 10th-century castle overlooking Bidasoa Estuary, offering charming courtyard and estuary-view terraces. Original features include ancient arches, suits of armour, and cannons. Modern rooms have wooden floors, flat-screen TVs, and minibars. The seafront promenade is 250 metres away, with Hondarribia's seafood restaurants and beach within short drives. San Sebastián and Biarritz are nearby, accessible by car.

The location and the Parador’s furnishings are really good. The beautiful terrace overlooking the bay and sea is simply amazing, and the service is also very good. Everything else is fine, but the price‑performance ratio doesn’t add up. In the end we paid €498.09 for breakfast and parking. It’s a 4‑star place but feels more like a Parador character without major service.

The view and location of this hotel are great, and it’s so conveniently situated near the airport. Breakfast is good too.

Historic interest and location are positives. The decor feels a bit tired, and there are tears in the stair carpet.

Rustige ligging en fantastisch uitzicht. Oogt wat gedateerd en heeft geen eigen restaurant voor diner
