“Great location, Ryan is great, big rooms”
Ryan reached out before our arrival to suggest several activities around Guilin, and the room itself was very spacious. The breakfast kitchen chef was friendly and helpful, and the hotel’s taxi driver was also kind and informative. The wifi was poor because we had to connect via WeChat; since we’re not Chinese we needed a VPN, which caused the connection to drop every few seconds—this was the only hotel in China with such a problem. When we arrived, the receptionist didn’t speak English and didn’t even try a translation app to communicate. Inside the room, we found hairs on the floor.
