Breakfast was served at the table and was plenty. Parking was available. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very quiet despite the busy road to Pairi Daiza. A shower instead of a bathtub would have been more practical for us, but it wasn’t a must.

The spot is fantastic – quiet, charming, and the breakfast was delicious, plus the bed for two was amazing. The bathroom, however, kept a persistent sewer smell that only disappeared when we cracked the window; it seemed like a problem with the trap. Everything else was spotless and well‑kept, so it’s still worth coming back, just hope they sort that odor out.

The staff were pleasant and the rooms clean, and the surroundings were quiet – nice for a short stay. We showed up to find the doors locked and no one around, so we had to wait until 3 pm to get a key, and the English spoken by the few people we met was limited. It felt more like a restaurant with a few guest rooms than a proper B&B, which made traveling with a little one a bit uncomfortable.

Our host was great about our late‑night arrival and the breakfast spread was generous, with fresh bread, pastries, sweet and savory items, plus fruit. The attic room we got was a sauna at night – 37 °C outside and no ventilation, so it stayed unbearably hot. The bathroom layout (bathtub in the middle) offered no privacy for a child, and the sink area was dim, forcing me to use the skylight for makeup.
