The spot is great and the staff were super friendly and helpful—no complaints there! The price was good for a weekend in the area, though the bathroom and bedroom felt a bit dated, nothing terrible though.
“Quite expensive for what it is.”
The location fit what we needed. The place was very squeaky and loud, with anyone walking around outside the rooms audible, and the locks were temperamental when trying to enter the rooms. Overall, it felt quite outdated and run down.
“Lovely sta great hosts, excellent food and drink plus great views.”
The owners and staff were fantastic, and the views were impressive. The food was excellent, and the historical tidbit that the Titanic’s captain supposedly stopped here on his way to Southampton added a cool vibe—plus the original part of the building is 900 years old.
“Fantastic stay.”
The location was spot‑on and the parking space was plenty large. The room was nice, and the evening meals were tasty. The hosts were genuinely kind and took good care of me, making it a solid value for money. I couldn't find anything to dislike.
“Great location and value for money”
The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and it offered good value. The building is old, so the ensuite’s maceraters can be noisy coming from neighboring rooms.
