“Coole Bleibe mitten in der Zitadelle”
The huge room in the very old but well‑maintained house in the Citadel of Gagliari was amazing. It felt like stepping straight back into the past. If you want more space, this is the place. In Gagliari itself you need to be a fan of stairs and steep streets; you can only go up and down. Parking was a challenge because you can’t park inside the Citadel. The host provides a website that explains everything. Restaurants and the old town are nearby, but you have to climb stairs 😬, which are still reachable.
The location is great, the room is huge, the bed is very comfortable, and the linen changes daily. There was a slight difficulty with parking.

The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, which I ended up liking. When I arrived at night, the facilities felt a bit scary to me. Even though it’s in the historic center, the neighborhood is completely deserted at night. Breakfast was sparse.
