Staying nights here is great, it meets all my needs; the internet is a highlight and it’s close to the train; I’ve been staying since August, so I keep coming back whenever possible.

The staff don’t speak English and you’re not welcome if you don’t speak Portuguese; it looks like there’s a window to the outside but it’s actually a bathroom window; the shower barely had water and it turned off during our stay; exposed wires left me with bug bites; breakfast was just bread; rooms vary, some are worse; there was a sulfur‑like odor and the walls were thin; people had domestic disputes, slammed doors on day one; random singing, loud phone videos with no headphones; lights would turn on in the bathroom window randomly; the TV didn’t work and there was no heating; people were spying on others; they use physical keys and the whole experience was awful; you get a huge fee if your debit card is charged as a credit card; don’t go unless you’re desperate.
