The spot was pretty, a quiet village perched on a hill, about half an hour’s drive to Cochem. The building itself was lovely, with a clean, nice bathroom and a decent kitchen. When we pulled out a plug, the housing fell out. The TV only had one channel. The cutlery was incomplete – only one fork. The bed was small, the head pillows were very soft and the blankets were thin. The door didn’t close properly and it was very noisy.

The place was sweetly renovated, a charming old half‑timber house. The price‑performance ratio was absolutely fine. We stayed in three apartments as a large family and had a nice time.
