A truly beautiful, classy hotel set in a delightful environment with amazing attention to detail; the room was exceptionally comfortable, the breakfast superb, and the onsen so refreshing. The location wasn’t ideal for most of the activities we wanted, which were on the other side of town, but the shuttle service helped.

After entering the large bath, a service of ice candy was offered. The room was a western-style but decorated with a Japanese aesthetic, making it quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared with local ingredients, beautifully presented, and delicious enough to overeat. The hotel is a bit away from Kanazawa Station, but a shuttle runs every 30 minutes between the hotel and the station, which was convenient. However, at the large bath, a few children each occupied one of the limited number of karan, preventing later guests from using them; the parents were not around, so the children bathed alone, and we had to alert the staff to open them.

The perfect hotel for a city holiday: spacious rooms, comfy beds, great breakfast, and an onsen with wonderful massage chairs that was perfect after a day of traveling.
