The room design was great, yet we were missing blackout curtains; a lot of light comes in from the street.

The place feels like a little fairy house, with common areas and rooms tastefully decorated and well maintained; the bathroom is spacious, the bed soft and cozy with plenty of blankets and pillows, and everything is clean and well stocked. The only downside was the train noise, but I slept fine and they even provided earplugs.

We stayed in a room with an in‑room bathroom that was lovingly furnished, and the bed was impressively large. It was nice to have a kitchen with a fridge for self‑catering, and we enjoyed discounted breakfast at the café below every day – the food was excellent! Communication with the host was quick and hassle‑free, making it a lovely stay. The train noise is loud, but we knew beforehand and earplugs were supplied. The curtains are too thin to block light; we used our own towels. When other guests were in the hallway at night, the noise level was high. It was annoying that the hallway light would shine directly onto the bed if left on, so the room door, which has a window, needs an extra curtain. The shower needs a new, proper seal because water leaks during use.

The property is beautifully decorated, feels cozy and homely, and the downstairs café serves delicious breakfast, brunch, and cakes. The room is about 10 m from the train line, and several large freight trains passed throughout the night. With the windows shut and the fan on, we mostly drowned out the noise, but it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

The accommodation is very stylish and overall comfortable. The shared kitchen in the hallway had everything needed for dinner prep. The trains nearby were a bit disruptive at night, but we were prepared for that due to the location near the station. I didn’t realize from the description that the private bathroom would be in the hallway, which was a surprise and the hallway bathroom was quite cold. I must rate the breakfast – included in the stay – poorly. The food itself was good, but the staff’s organization and behavior ruined the overall impression. The café space for breakfast is very small, and during both breakfasts we couldn’t find a seat because of reservations and other guests, which the staff didn’t address. At the second breakfast we left early because of the lack of space and slow service. If the staff offered guests with paid breakfast a way to reserve a table at a specific time, the overall impression of the accommodation would not be marred by breakfast.
