The spot was fantastic, the tent was solid, we stayed for two nights, had one decent dinner and one that wasn’t that great, and breakfast was pretty basic. At breakfast the staff weren’t friendly or welcoming, but the dinner service improved; overall the value didn’t feel great.

The staff were helpful and friendly, breakfasts and dinners were included, there were coffee and tea stations, and the location in the park meant we were close to the park’s attractions. The surrounding area feels a bit drab, and the hot water in the showers was poor.

The spot in Bell is great and the staff are super friendly, but the tents were a nightmare. Daytime temps hit 40°C, nights were sweltering, and there was no way to cool off—unlike the Bell Gorge site that actually had fans.

The lodge was pricey, but it saved us a lot of driving. We parked our caravan at the Bungle Bungle van park on the highway, so we could spend two days in the park without the hassle of a long drive. The roads are rough, so it would have been a nightmare to do everything in one day.
