“My stay was perfect the staff was lovely”
The staff and facilities were gorgeous, and the breakfast choices were delightful, though the directions to the hotel were confusing and not straightforward.

The pool with its view was beautiful, yet getting from the reception to our room required hopping through several elevators with long corridors that only lit up late, especially the hallway by the art gallery which felt spooky in the dark like a night museum. Having to hold the room key in the elevator even when just heading to reception was annoying because the sensor would only accept it after many attempts. At breakfast, all guests received coffee at their tables except us, even after we asked. The cocktails in the Rodrigo Lounge tasted like juice; we ordered a Pornstar Martini and didn’t even get the tiny glass of champagne that usually accompanies it. On the second day the showers were only boiling hot, and we couldn’t lock our room.

The pool and the room were nice, but the breakfast didn’t live up to a five‑star standard.

The view was pretty, but the bathroom smelled bad, there was no toilet paper, and when I arrived at the reception I had booked a table at the restaurant, only to find no reservation.

The staff were lovely and the hotel and room design was charming, but the sun beds at the paid pool were first‑rate.
