“Delightful host and a lovely place”
I had a fantastic time at Guest House Gegi, thanks to the super kind host, the beautiful garden, the quiet surroundings, the comfy beds, and the spacious, clean room—nothing to change!
“Best stay in Kutaisi”
Jubi was a great host! He picked us up from the train station and welcomed us with homemade wine. The guesthouse sits up a hill, a short walk from the center, but Jubi offered to pick us up from down the hill any time we returned from the city so we didn’t have to walk up. He also arranged our next stay in Kinchkha for a very fair price. I cannot recommend this guesthouse more; their hospitality is just impeccable!
A truly exceptional stay! We only wish we had more time in Kutaisi to stay longer. This place felt like home thanks to Gegi’s kindness. Thank you so much for the wine, chacha, and fresh fruit (cherries, peach) and cookies—WOW! This was really going above and beyond in kindness and hospitality, and we appreciated your generosity very much. Plus, despite our language barrier, we can still understand Gegi’s kindness and good nature. The room was very, very comfortable, the best bed I have had in Georgia. A great shower too, and the whole top floor was ours with a living room and kitchen. Extremely great value and a rating of 10/10 is not enough for this phenomenal stay.
“A peaceful, authentic little home in Kutaisi, close to the center, but far from the noise.”
I was searching for a spot near the city center yet still peaceful and quiet, so waking up to birds instead of cars mattered to me; I hit the jackpot with Guesthouse Gegi, a tiny place with only 3–4 rooms that feels especially cozy, calm, and private. The house itself is an authentic Kutaisi home with a lovely garden, and it quickly feels like staying in your own home rather than a hotel. The host is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and for the price the guesthouse offers very good conditions. I was genuinely happy and would definitely recommend it.
“Лучшее место”
Everything was great— the host is very warm, ready to help, give advice, share stories, and offer homemade wine. We were very satisfied. Wishing the host good health and many more years.
