The Single Room offers one single bed for one guest. A private bathroom is included in the room. Entertainment features a television with cable channels.
The location is excellent.
The bed was comfortable. The room suffered from sparse furnishings, old furniture, only two toilets, and the hallway was completely worn out.
The receptionist treated me poorly; he was unhelpful and couldn't say anything useful. I won't return; I usually give people the benefit of the doubt when they treat me well. It was clear that the staff didn't value customers equally. After the experience, nothing else to add.
“Perfect for a short stay close the main train station”
The spot is great if you’re traveling by train, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. However, it can be tough for cautious or nervous travelers because there’s a homeless shelter around the corner and a few sex shops. Still, the area felt safe like any other train‑station neighborhood in a German city: full of homeless, sex shops, and gambling casinos, but no issues at all. My room was huge, suitable for three people, with an included bathroom and a large desk for work. The bed was comfortable and the windows effectively blocked street noise. Internet worked perfectly at a medium speed. The hotel itself is very old and poorly maintained, giving the impression of a bad place, though it probably would have been nice 30 or 40 years ago. The entrance is via a side door, then an old elevator to the 5th floor, which looks scary if you’re alone at night. The overall lighting is poor, making the experience feel rather creepy.
There was no plug in the bath.
