The spa facilities were wonderful, it was pet friendly, and the garden on the property was lovely.
The serenity, the calm, the nature.
“Prima hotel maar boek een kamer IN het hotel en niet de l’insolite.”
I loved the hotel’s look and the variety of seating, the restaurant was pretty nice and the breakfast was solid. The spa was free and amazing. However, the “l’insolite” room was a major let‑down – the space felt cramped, the beds were soft and small, and the view was just a patch of mountains with weeds, barely any glimpse of the river. There was no Wi‑Fi and no 4G or 5G coverage.
“correct”
The breakfast was impeccable. The view was supposedly exceptional, especially from the rooftops.
“Schönes Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen”
The spa area was spotless and a true oasis of relaxation; free tea was available and there were several spots to lie down. The outdoor pool completed the experience – very tidy and well kept. On the downside, the higher‑priced rooms were tiny and faced the street. TV programming and reception were poor, which feels underwhelming for a four‑star hotel. The food was upscale but pricey, and the drinks were even more expensive.
