“Un concept intéressant... mais...”

A cool concept with lots of potential and plenty of amenities… the eco‑friendly side, the dry toilets, and the well‑thought‑out toilet corner are great. But the exterior lights don’t work (you need your own torch, and it ruined the candlelit dinner), the folding seats are too low for the table, there’s little ventilation so it gets hot inside, and the value for money is questionable.

The accommodation was original, but communication with the host was lacking, the promised temperatures weren’t met and didn’t suit the experience, and there was no functional lighting in the room.

“Wirklich schön, aber ..”

The key handover was contact‑free, and the tent was charmingly set up; the bed was very comfortable. There was a wide range of seating options, plus two bicycles, a golf set, and a ping‑pong table. A grill was available, and overall we were well shielded from outside views. Even though the main house was close, we had plenty of privacy. The area is truly quiet, and during our Saturday‑Sunday stay the only nighttime noises were occasional dog barks and cooing pigeons. Unfortunately the bathroom was a problem. It’s housed in a timber shop unit and has been patched up several times. The shower and sink are fine, but the dry toilet is oddly designed. The handling is awkward, the wood chips are a bit sparse, the lid doesn’t fit quite right, and overall the toilet is the reason I wouldn’t stay more than one night. Despite the lovely tent, the bathroom is a drawback.
