“Never again!”
NOTHING!. The smell throughout the hotel was unbearable! When we got to the room the mildew and cigarette smell in the room was so disturbing it forced me and my spouse to go to Meijer and purchase car air fresheners to place in the air unit, also purchased automatic spray freshener to help with smell and a blanket which costed $34.35. We were spraying our perfume and cologne so much as well. The window had no screen so we couldn’t even get some air flow. The window also had a crack across it, the slider blinds looked disgusting, a little clump of hair was on top of fitted sheet and it looked like a coffee stain on the fitted sheet. THANK GOD we had brought our own sheets from home! The bathroom floor was sticky, our neighbors across the hall had their door slightly ajar and were being extremely loud. Heard stomping and running up and down the stairs and through hallway. Our first night which was Friday night when we arrived at 7:30pm we had no choice but to stay for my friend’s wedding which was the next day because every other hotel close enough was booked, we showered and left the room to go see the bride at her hotel for a few hours. Didn’t return back to our room until 12am. Day of the wedding (Saturday) we left at 12:30pm and were gone the entire day for the wedding which ended at 10:30pm. We returned around 11-1130pm. We were supposed to stay that night as well to rest for our drive back home Sunday morning but only ended up coming back to the room to grab our things to leave. We wanted to leave so badly that I didn’t even stop to at the counter to check out. Drove home at 12am which took us 2 hours to get home. So we arrived home around 2am. Our reservation was from Friday til Sunday and we were in that room for maybe a total of only 10 hours and paid almost $300!!
